Sway (Quien Será)

English Words by Norman Gimbel
Spanish Words and Music by Pablo Beltran Ruiz
arr. Kirby Shaw

¿Quién será la que me quiera a mí?
¿Quién será? ¿quién será?
¿Quién será la que me dé su amor?
¿Quién será? ¿quién será?

Who will be the one who would love me?
Who will be? Who will be?
Who will be the one who would give me her love?
Who will be? Who will be?

Yo no sé si la podré encontrar,
yo no sé, yo no sé.
Yo no sé si volveré a querer,
yo no sé, yo no sé.

I don't know whether I will be able to find her,
I don't know, I don't know.
I don't know whether I will love again,
I don't know, I don't know.
--
Other dancers may be on the floor
Dear, but my eyes will see only you
Only you have that magic technique
When we sway I grow weak

Ashley Daniel, Director

Ashley Daniel is the Director of Vocal Studies at Lee High School Music Conservatory, where she is currently in her fifth year of service, and serves as President of the Huntsville Choral Directors Association. She is also an active member of the Alabama Vocal Association and NAfME (National Association for Music Education), and a proud graduate of the Alabama A&M University Choir.
With over 12 years of teaching experience, Ashley has dedicated her career to shaping young musicians and creating meaningful opportunities for students to express their creativity through music. She is passionate about highlighting student talent while advocating year-round for growth in performance, composition, and music education.
For Ms. Daniel, music is more than performance—it is a source of peace, opportunity, and lifelong connection.

Lee High School Chamber Choir

The Lee High School Chamber Choir is made up of the most talented students in our vocal performance program. Under the dedicated leadership of Ashley Daniel for the past five years, this choir has consistently earned superior ratings at state-level assessments and competitions.
We take pride in being a well-rounded choral program that explores a variety of musical styles. Our commitment to excellence is evident in every class as we work diligently toward our goals. We believe that discipline plays an essential role in shaping students into well-rounded adults.
In addition to ensemble performance, our choral students have opportunities to study privately and prepare for solo competitions. Students may also participate in musical theatre productions and engage in several community choral festivals in collaboration with local colleges and universities, further enriching their musical experience.

Our choir actively engages with the community by performing annually at the Rescue Mission, Bridge Street Mall, local middle schools, sporting events, churches, and state governmental events. Through our talent and hard work, we strive to showcase a positive image of Lee High School.
